A memorial CD entitled LOVESONG has been released, featuring the WORLD PREMIERE RECORDING of Panufniuk's Lovcsong (1976) in an orchestration for harp and strings by Mark Stephenson. The CD offers superb performances by London Musici conducted by Mark Stephenson, the Chilingirian String Quartet and soprano Heather Shipp.

CURRENT EXHIBITION of Panufnik musical diagrams, memorabilia and photographs at the BARBICAN MUSIC LIBRARY, open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays until 6th November 2001.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD IN WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL ON 30 NOVEMBER 2001, AT 5.30pm. Everyone is welcome! As well as the music during the Mass, the service will be followed by a performans of SONG TO THE VIRGIN MARY by the JOYFUL COMPANY of SINGERS.

AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PANUFNIK'S MUSIC WILL BE HELD AT THE JAGIELLONIAN UNIVERSITY IN KRAKOW, POLAND together with the PANUFNIK MUSIC DAYS of the Contemporary Music Club MALWA will take place in Krakow from 22nd to 25th November 2001.
